Social schemes

  • Jan Dhan Yojana: More than 15 crore bank accounts opened, over 10 crore RuPay debit cards issued, with life cover.
  • PAHAL – Cooking gas now under direct-cash-benefit transfer scheme, with potential saving of $5billion annually in subsidies, plus Diesel prices de-regulated
  • Mudra bank:- launched with Rs.20,000 crore corpus to extend loans of between Rs.50,000 and Rs.10 lakh to small entrepreneurs
  • PRADHANMANTRI SURAKSHA BIMA YOJNA – Accidential insurance 2 lac rs
  • Atal Pension Yojna – Pension will get after 60 years.

Woman empowerment and Security

  • Sukanya samridhi yojna – 38 lakh account opened.
  • 36 rape crisis center will build
  • woman 33% Reservation in police force in 7 UT.
  • Toilets can reduce rape rate Govt build 10 crore toilet before 2019.A total of 31.83 lakh toilets have been built between April 2014 and January 2015, which is 25.4% of the target for 2014-15
  • Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao -generate awareness and improving the efficiency of welfare services meant for women. The scheme was initiated with an initial corpus of Rs 100 crore,

Black money

  • 121 cases against HSBC account holders.428 actionable cases, the government had said, the net amount of peak balance was about Rs. 4,500 crore.
  • Cabinet approves refurbished anti-corruption law- The Penal provisions have been increased from minimum 6 months to at least 3 years in jail and maximum sentence has been increased to 7 years
